SAINT MARK’S YOUTH

SAINT MARK’S YOUTH

Learning, Serving, and Growing Together

Saint Mark’s Youth is a place for worship and prayer, acceptance and laughter, and joy and discernment. All are welcome to join our unique, active, silly, Christ-seeking community!

The mission of Saint Mark’s Youth community is to be a space in young people’s lives where they can worship, grow and play in the knowledge and love of God. We provide a place for fun, fellowship, spiritual growth and service to others, while living out the mission Christ calls us to in loving one another as ourselves, and loving God with all our hearts, souls and minds.

EYC stands for Episcopal Youth Community.

EYC is open to all 6th-12th graders and their friends. We participate in service projects, play games, go on retreats, discern our faith, travel for fun, for mission, and worship as a community.

EKC stands for Episcopal Kids Community.

EKC is our pre-teen program focusing on our 2nd-5th graders and their spiritual, physical and emotional development.

We also have a nursery, Sunday school, children’s chapel, a children’s choir and a Day School for kids age two through kindergarten, along with opportunities for kids to serve as Acolytes. We also have a Vacation Bible School each summer. No matter what age of your child, there are age-appropriate activities, education and fun for them here at Saint Mark’s.

Here is the Youth Ministry Handbook, detailing our policies and procedures in working with youth at Saint Mark’s.
