Community of Hope

Saint Mark’s is a Community of Hope center where 29 laypeople all over the diocese have been trained for a broad-based pastoral care training in a variety of ministries including hospice, Eucharistic visitor, hospital and homebound visiting, creation care, pastoral care to animals, phone ministry, Mourner’s Path, recovery ministry, ministry to LGBTQ, hospital chaplaincy, and prison ministry.

The group stays connected with continued education once a month at 6:30 on the first Monday night. The training was steeped in Benedictine spirituality.
